How to Build Organizations That Can Keep Up With Exponential Change
By Goran B. Stanković

About the Book
This upcoming book is a wake-up call for leaders who sense that “business as usual” is already over – but don’t yet have a clear language or roadmap for what comes next.
Technology is compounding faster than our organizations can adapt. AI, robotics, biotechnology, energy, transport and automation are rewriting the rules of competition, value creation, and even what “a job” means. In that world, one thing is certain: you either build a culture of continuous innovation – or you will eventually be disrupted by someone who has.
Disrupt or Be Disrupted: Continuous Innovation Culture Shift explains what continuous innovation really is, why tool-driven transformations so often fail, and how to redesign your organization so learning, experimentation, and adaptation become part of everyday work – not a side project.
Instead of selling yet another “methodology”, this book shows how Design Thinking, Lean and Agile can work together inside a broader innovation culture, supported by visionary leadership, flatter structures, modular architectures, self-organized teams, and parallel work.
What You’ll Find Inside
- A clear, practical explanation of Continuous Innovation Culture (CIC) – what it is, how it works, and how it differs from traditional change programs.
- A candid look at why most transformations fail – and how to avoid the common traps of tool worship, innovation theater, and top-down initiatives with no ownership.
- A simple but powerful framework for building CIC, including leadership behaviors, structures, team design, and everyday routines that make innovation sustainable.
- Concrete guidance on how to connect Design Thinking, Lean and Agile into one coherent system instead of competing buzzwords.
- Practical tools: questions, exercises, workshop formats and checklists to help you start shifting your culture – whether you lead a startup, a corporate department, a public institution or a non-profit.
- Real-world patterns and stories of organizations that learned to adapt continuously – and those that didn’t.
This book is written to be honest, direct, and usable – the kind of guide you keep on your desk, not on a shelf.

Coming soon.

From the Author
This book was born out of a simple observation:
Most organizations don’t fail because their people aren’t smart or hardworking enough.
They fail because they are organized for a world that no longer exists.
Over the last 25 years, I’ve watched teams run “innovation projects”, introduce Agile, launch labs and digital initiatives – only to see them slowly pulled back into old habits, structures and power dynamics. The tools were new. The culture was not.
I wrote Disrupt or Be Disrupted for leaders and teams who are ready to go deeper than methods and buzzwords. For people who want to build organizations where it is normal to experiment, to learn in public, to challenge assumptions, and to continuously adapt – without burning people out.
You don’t have to become Silicon Valley.
But you do have to decide: Will you shape the future, or react to it?
My hope is that this book gives you language, structure, and courage to start a continuous innovation culture shift – wherever you are.
